Kayaking with Baby Otters in Abel Tasman

Saturday we booked a full day kayak adventure along the Abel Tasman National Park coastline. The day started early when they loaded us onto a boat which was towed by a tractor from the kayak shop to the boat entry.

The weather was gorgeous, despite the season, though I was quite happy we had splash skirts since the water was chilly!

A few other couples joined us for the first half of the day, but we had the guide all to ourselves in the afternoon. 

Highlight of the day was hanging out with baby otters.
