Hiking Kauai

We set off on a 4ish mile roundtrip hike overlooking the bay this afternoon.

The trail was super muddy and relatively steep, but view just kept getting better and better the further we went.

After the 1.5 mile mark, the hike got both steeper and muddier and involved some rope assists to keep from sliding off the hill.

By the time we turned around, the weather had started rolling in. We got a little rained on.

Obviously it didn't put much of a damper on our spirits though!
