Hanalei Bay

After an uneventful red-eye flight on Saturday night from Brisbane into Kauai by way of Honolulu, we picked up our white Jeep Wrangler rental and drove the scenic hour up the coast to Hanalei Bay. We are unbelievably fortunate to have a friend with a house *literally* on the bay, and are spending the week surfing, paddleboarding, reading on the beach, and eating too much at Bar Acuda (Ginger & Smoke margaritas ftw). It doesn't get better than this.

We've even seen a rainbow or two :)
