Food + Wine near Queenstown

We spent the last couple days in and around Queenstown tasting wine, eating too much cheese, and taking in the scenery.

We bought wine from Aurum, Chard Farms, and Wet Jacket, plus a bunch of cheese from the cheesery that shares Wet Jacket's shearing shed.

We were introduced to a friend of a friend who hosted us for a delicious home cooked meal (they went out of their way to accommodate our gluten-free vegan silliness) and let us camp in their driveway for the night.

In the morning, after a tasty brunch at Bespoke Kitchen, we took the Skyline Gondola to the top of the hill overlooking Queenstown.

We drove surprisingly terrifying luge carts around a track, watched some bungee jumpers, and had a pleasant hike back down through the woods.

We weren't allowed to freedom camp in Queenstown, but it sure was gorgeous.
